Ipswich Athletic Fund

IEF has supplied numerous grants to help fill funding gaps for the Ipswich High School’s athletic programs. Through fundraisers like the Golf Classic event, the Athletic Fund has provided thousands of dollars for indoor/outdoor facilities, uniforms, and equipment.

This has included raising funds for the Welch Stadium pressbox and grants to refinish the Woodworth court and replace the sound system in the Roundy gymnasium. IEF’s Athletic Fund also works with IHS coaching staff to ensure the school has adequate funds to refresh it’s uniforms on a rotating basis.

The IEF believes that community support for the school’s athletes is increasingly important in an era of tightening school budgets. Team sports are more than just competition; they are a source of pride and comradery for our student-athletes.
